It should be borne in mind that as a result of education, men often restrain their emotions and feelings. And, perhaps, the only emotion that they can show without hiding from others is rage. But this should not become a criterion for assessing the character of a man.

There are five factors - the "Big Five" - which determine the basic character traits of a person. These basic parameters of personality are: extraversion, goodwill, consciousness, neuroticism (emotional instability), openness to experience. To determine the character of a man by these parameters, you need to answer the questions - is he an extrovert or an introvert, is he friendly or rather, conscious or irresponsible, emotionally stable or unstable, smart or not. As a rule, these five parameters are able to tell almost everything that others would like to know about a particular person.

To correctly determine the parameters of the "Big Five", you can use various everyday situations. For example, a highly rated consciousness factor can be given to a man who takes great care when driving a car. A high assessment of consciousness means, among other things, conscientiousness, hard work, organization, punctuality. A low rating of consciousness is negligence, laziness, disorganization, non-punctuality.

Trying to assess the behavior of a man and determine his character, one must take into account how the external situation affects a particular character trait. So, a man will behave differently in church, at work, at a party and at a football match. However, if at a party a man is more calm compared to other members of the stronger sex, then, apparently, he will behave similarly in other situations.
