In the modern world there are many reasons for stress and neurosis. And one of them is exaggerated expectations from oneself, relatives and from the surrounding reality. By such conclusions, a person, without suspecting it, inflicts enormous damage to his own state of mind.

It is human nature to strive to improve the life of his family and his own. But at the moment when this desire develops into a groundlessly high expectation of benefits, it is then that difficulties begin with psychological comfort and emotional balance.

In order to bring your state of mind into harmony with yourself, you need to be aware of whether it corresponds to the level of your needs? Dreams of a higher position will prove futile if the qualification of the employee does not allow this. It is difficult to become a millionaire without making any efforts to achieve your dream. This is where the snag lies. To get what you want, you need to either make an effort or look into the eyes of reality.

When a fictional world, a world of fantasies and illusions, collides with reality and dreams fall apart, then a long depression arises, from which not everyone can get out.

Most often, people with an inferiority complex suffer from high expectations syndrome. Due to external attributes, they want to gain self-confidence. In such cases, without getting what you want, a person is inclined to transfer his negative state to a husband or wife, constantly reproaching, finding fault, reproaching for minor trifles. But at the same time, they completely forget that they, too, are not a standard of ideality.

The harmony within us depends only on our own perception of reality. There are two options: either to demand from your life that which, in fact, you are not ready for, or to perceive life as it is, and only then peace of mind will come. It is necessary to understand that in order to receive from life what you really want, you need to correspond yourself. This is one of the most important and painful in some way stages of finding peace with oneself.

You can endlessly suffer and suffer from what you don’t have, but it’s better to be grateful for what you have already achieved, and then there will be forces and opportunities for new achievements. First of all, wanting to achieve something, you need to work on yourself. Take courses, enroll in a gym. Self-development is one of the ways to calm and understand yourself.
