Not every person can proudly declare that he is in extremely pleasant friendly relations with himself. More and more people suffer from intrapersonal conflicts, are prone to self-accusation and auto-aggression. If you still want to become a reliable and close friend for yourself, you can use some methods, the result of which will not be long in coming.

If you want to make friends with yourself, first of all, you need to eradicate the habit of blaming yourself for everything. Self-flagellation is not able to lead to anything good, it destroys mental health, negatively affects physical well-being. Establishing contact with yourself, you need to learn to compliment yourself, cheer and praise yourself even in small things. Third-party approval of some deeds and actions can be very valuable, but it will crumble into nothing if you yourself underestimate yourself. The development of self-esteem is an important moment for the formation of a friendship with your inner self.

You need to understand that your self-esteem should not have a direct correlation - dependence - on the opinions of people around you. It is impossible to be sweet and perfect for everyone. Problems, disagreements, different outlooks on life and any situations - all this is the norm for human society. Unhealthy criticism, any offensive and completely baseless remarks, etc. should not become what will underestimate your self-esteem, your self-worth. Learn to see the good in the bad, smile together in order to be sad, and the world around will begin to change.

Make yourself concessions. So, for example, you should not do work through “I can’t”, ignoring sleep and rest. It is always important to listen to signals from the psyche, to calls from your body. Developing a careful attitude to yourself and your needs, you can gradually make friends with your inner self, which will become a loyal assistant and adviser in important matters.

Try to surround yourself with people who are positive, who love their minds and bodies, who strive to develop and not be afraid to act. It is necessary to get rid of the toxic atmosphere, abusive relationships, minimize negativity in life, and learn to resist manipulation and stress. This tempers the character, it will allow you to develop morally and strengthen your connection with yourself. Always remember that people around, one way or another, but have an impact on you, and on your life.

Gradually learn not to criticize yourself in a harsh manner. Of course, in a number of cases, criticism helps to develop, but if it becomes too much, if it is completely negative and, moreover, unjustified, it begins to destroy you from the inside. Allow yourself small weaknesses from time to time and do not be ashamed of it. In addition, try to gradually release the poisonous emotions that have accumulated inside - fear, guilt, resentment, shame, anger, and so on. Your inner self will say "thank you" for such a "purge."

To develop friendships with yourself, accept your uniqueness. Stop lining up with other people, don't try to become someone else's copy. You are a unique person. Only by realizing this can one get rid of a number of intrapersonal conflicts. Along with this, learn to correctly and with dignity accept compliments, signs of attention, support, care, love and attention.

Do not forget to regularly devote time to self-development. This is extremely important for working out the various problems hidden inside, for self-improvement and reaching new heights.
