To determine your favorite business, you need to seriously talk to yourself. Take a piece of paper and a pen. Separate and think about what matters bring you the most satisfaction, which delight and bring you a sense of accomplishment. Choose those that you have always been pleased to do. Some people like to cook, others like to draw, and others are happy to do home repairs. But if sometimes you are in a good mood and you are pleased to cook, but at another time this activity makes you sick - this is not a thing to be added to the list. Also, you should be pleased to do just that, and not just get the result by a coincidence, therefore, for example, games in the lotto are not suitable. There should not be too many points in the list, no more than 5. If there are more of them, then you inattentively selected them, probably did not take into account some of the requirements described above. Or maybe you are fooling yourself?

Now take one sheet of paper for each of the cases and write what is required in order to do this, and what consequences await you. For example, you like taking pictures. You will need a camera and other photo equipment, a model or landscape for shooting, suitable conditions, photo materials, you will need to think over the composition, conduct subsequent processing of the frame, etc. Write a list for each case.

Now the consequences. Describe everything that will happen to you after you do your favorite things, what experience you will learn, what will happen next. If you take an example about photography, you will learn a lot of photography techniques, make connections among models, find out what interesting places to shoot in your area, get pictures, you can sell them in a magazine or photo bank, learn how to use image processing programs, you can draw in them and make collages, and so on. Write everything that comes to your mind, and it’s okay if one consequence arises from another, and not from the case itself.

Now exclude those cases for which you do not like the process of preparing for them, as well as those whose consequences you are not impressed with or seem to you not too pleasant and interesting. Think about each of these cases, what it would be like to do, what would you do to get profit from your hobby. What resources would be required from you? Perhaps you don’t have enough time for something, and health for something else. The lifestyle imposed by some deeds may not appeal to you. Think over your entire list, and you will be able to find a business for yourself that suits you most fully, and thereby find your calling.
