Achieving change in life is a complex and lengthy process for those who find it difficult to decide to take the first steps in this direction. But if you pull yourself together and stubbornly follow the intended goal for a week or two, you can achieve good results.

The most difficult thing is to make a decision for yourself: change your life. Therefore, find a number of reasons why this is so important to you. This is best done in the morning. Write down the reasons on the sheet and have them with you at first. This will be the first motivational step. Note that the second step must be done immediately after the first.

So, the last night of your "old life". It will also have to be done in a new way. Go to bed early by setting the alarm at the right time. Pre-write on the wrist of the hand with which you turn off the bell: “new life” (or some other motivating phrase). In the morning you should not rearrange the alarm at a later time, you need to get up with the first call. The inscription on your hand will serve as a reminder of this.

Start getting rid of bad habits. Again, use the handwriting. The same “new life, ” or another phrase, should remind you that bad habits are also a thing of the past.

Get good habits. To do this, start a notebook and write down in it a list of useful things that you want to enrich your day with: it should be just what you will definitely do. A new life cannot immediately become ideal; one must come to everything gradually. Make the following columns in the notebook: list item, date, completed. In the column "completed" indicate how much of this item would have been done, and if you had time to do everything - check the box.

The points may be the following: "do such and such an exercise a certain number of times", "cook according to a new recipe", "learn so many foreign words." Do not take too much loads at once. If you learn the words, then for starters, no more than ten a day. And there should be no more than five new “habits”. When you master this volume and start doing it with ease, you can add yourself tasks.

Remember your dreams, you wanted to realize your plans before, but you couldn’t. By working on good and bad habits, you will gain certain skills in planning and distributing your time, as well as develop willpower. Thanks to this, more complex tasks will be solved easier than before. Do not be afraid that something will not work, mistakes will also help to understand what you are doing wrong and where it is better to direct your energy.

Remember, the key to conscious change is motivation, willpower. The main enemy is the fear that you will not succeed.

If you’re afraid that you don’t have enough willpower, start moving toward change “as an experiment.” Follow this instruction for a week, and after the deadline, decide if you need it or will return to the old way of life.
