Under the burnout syndrome, a conclusion is supposed - burned out in the workplace! Most "workaholics" constantly have this syndrome, which, unfortunately, is not possible for everyone to cope with.

The combustion syndrome is traditionally common for everyone and is manifested in the following:

1) The occurrence of fatigue and instant fatigue;

2) Loss of desire to work, including those duties that previously seemed necessary and interesting;

3) The dulling of receiving satisfaction from the work process;

4) increase in body weight;

5) Increasing the need for smoking, strong drinks, gambling, sex and unscheduled financial costs;

6) Frequent dizziness, pain in the back and chest;

7) Bad and disturbing sleep;

8) Slow and poor-quality execution of cases that were previously carried out quickly and without much labor;

9) Severe irritability;

10) The appearance of a feeling of loneliness and disappointment in everything.

The syndrome traditionally begins with fatigue and exhaustion. It is difficult to trace it at an early stage and seek the help of a doctor.

Who is most likely to suffer from burnout? First of all, this is a service sector group, then office workers (as a rule, observed by managers) and, naturally, creative professions and housewives. All of the above groups of people with overstated claims in relation to themselves, setting themselves the most difficult tasks on which self-esteem depends, and eventually realizing that this resource is not enough. What to do in order not to become a hostage to your own work? Naturally, with the advanced stage of the syndrome, only the help of a therapist will undoubtedly help.

In treating the syndrome, the following steps must be taken.

1) Find out what goals are personal for you, and which are imposed by the surrounding society. Put unnecessary goals in the background, or completely forget about them and focus only on personal goals.

2) It is necessary to learn to respect first of all your own goals and desires. You should love yourself as you are, and not as you strive to become in the future. You need to feel that for people around you you are valuable not only because of your own professional achievements. To be sure, then loved ones and comrades will begin to love and respect you even in the absence of any successes and achievements, because they are relatives and friends. It is necessary to stop depending on the approval of others.

3) It is necessary to use your time correctly and combine work and rest. It is very important to switch in time and move in different directions, you should not be alone.
