Many of the people lied, they will lie and lie. But sometimes cheating can be revealed. There are several ways to recognize lies: verbal, psychophysiological and non-verbal.
The verbal way (verbal) is a check of the coordination of the submitted information and the non-verbal way: for example, gestures.
The psychophysiological method is the manifestation of changes in the work of external organs. This method is impossible to control.
Non-verbal way - a change in behavior, facial expressions, gestures both on the external and on the internal (physiological) level.
The best way to this day is to check with a lie detector. For lack of a handheld device, in everyday life an ordinary person can recognize a liar by some signs.
For example, psychophysiological signs:
- trembling or increase or decrease in voice intonation;
- the appearance of atypical verbal turns;
- perceived excitement in the voice;
- pauses when answering difficult questions or too quick an answer;
- the appearance of droplets of sweat over the upper or forehead;
- frequent swallowing of saliva;
- twitching of the muscles of the face (eyebrow, lip, eyelid), etc.
Non-verbal symptoms:
- rubbing hands, scratching the head, neck, earlobe, nose, eyes;
- nervous biting of lips, nails;
- fear of looking into the interlocutor’s eyes;
- fumbles a button on clothes, twists nervously a handle in his hand, etc.
Verbal signs:
- evasion of concretization of certain facts;
- persistent emphasis on his innocence or honesty, demanding confirmation from the interlocutor that he believes him;
- rudeness, manifestation of hostility in a conversation in relation to the interlocutor, etc.
