Many consider abortion a purely medical procedure that carries only physiological consequences. Science is developing, it seems that the negative consequences of the operation should be less every year. However, is this so from a psychological point of view?

Thoughts about abortion cause a painful feeling, which is sometimes preferred to overcome and perceive the termination of pregnancy only in its physical aspect.

However, there is very convincing evidence from family constellations about the emotional consequences of abortion for all family members that Bert Hellinger, the founder of the family constellation method, made public.

It turns out that the family and the human race represent a certain integrity, which has its own laws. There are no deceased or lost relatives for the clan. Each person, living his life, leaves his own experience for the species and is of high value to him, no matter what this life would be from our human positions. Each member is valuable for a gender; each person takes his place and is in a certain way connected with ancestors and descendants.

There are kinds where the correct system of relations is built with each other and between generations. People belonging to these clans live happily enough with the least number of problems and tragedies. Their relationship system is based on love, respect, the right attitude towards ancestors, care for the younger generations, etc. Such genera develop harmoniously, and accumulate a positive experience.

However, this happens quite rarely. We all admit certain violations. This is disrespect, and conflict, not to mention more serious mistakes.

What happens in the birth system if a woman has an abortion?

Recall that for a person’s kind, all people belonging to this kind, even dead, are considered as part of it. And the aborted child acquires the status of a departed and rejected member of the clan. The family rejected it, removed it from its memory.

And then the law of compensation begins to apply. If the family rejected the child, this does not mean that the family rejected it, and its fate should manifest itself in one way or another in subsequent generations. Therefore, abortion negatively affects subsequent children, or in some cases subsequent generations of children (grandchildren, great-grandchildren).

This is expressed in the fact that a child or a descendant who is born after an abortion can carry the experience that occurred with an aborted child. He may feel rejected, unnecessary, experience unreasonable fears and anxieties. And all this will be just a manifestation of those feelings that arose in the rejected child.

Such difficulties can be resolved by special psychotherapeutic work that corrects broken patterns in the human race.
