Autism is an abnormality in mental development. It is assumed that the violations are caused by genetic damage and are in no way related to education.
Early signs of autism
You can notice the signs of autism in a child in the first years of life. A characteristic feature is unwillingness to make contact, physical or social. As a result, the speech development of a child who is simply not seeking to establish connections with the outside world is inhibited.
The child does not show initiative in communication, avoids eye contact. Autistic individuals are characterized by echolalia - the repetition of words or phrases, which can erroneously create the impression of mental retardation. However, in reality, mental retardation is observed only in a third of cases, usually autists understand the meaning of what has been said.
An autistic child does not seek to find a common language with peers; it seems emotionally cold and detached. Autists are distinguished by hypersensitivity to sensory influences of the environment: light, sounds, smells, touches. The high intensity of the effects of suffering brings akin to pain during physical damage.
