Actually, almost all modern youth think so. You can, of course, perceive this phenomenon as a common information culture of the future, which is what Americans do. However, after analyzing the situation, scientists agree that only those who are more knowledgeable in conceptual thinking can achieve maximum success in modern conditions. But you need to learn how to use clip art at the right time. What does it look like in practice?
Indeed, to cope with an avalanche of information that spills over children from an early age is impossible. And the child adapts to existing conditions. But I must say that parents are also adapting it to this. Instead of reading a book before going to bed, it’s much easier and more convenient to turn on a cartoon. Thus they free up their time and deprive the child of communication and the opportunity to imagine the images of fairy-tale heroes. It should be thought that with clip thinking (superficial scraps of topics) some centers of the brain are involved, and with conceptual (continuous analysis, building a chain of sequential actions) completely different ones.
On the one hand, clip thinking makes it possible to quickly perceive information and respond to it with lightning speed. But the harm to this tendency is that a person has sometimes no time to analyze the moral and ethical side of a particular issue in a stream of information. Hence the increase in the percentage of adolescents who are characterized by cruelty in behavior. Moreover, he himself does not succeed in answering the question why he did this. In order to achieve the desired heights in the career, it is necessary to see the entire long path to the goal and move forward.
Clip thinking is necessary when you need to quickly make a decision at the level of intuition. "Conceptualists" without the ability to think in a clip way will not take place in the modern world either. Scientists believe that presidents, successful businessmen, and millionaires know how to use both at the right time. And it is very valuable.
