When hungry, a person perfectly understands its cause, and knows how to eliminate it. This is if we talk about ordinary hunger. It is more difficult with psychological hunger, that is, sensory. You can not pay attention to it for a long time until its extreme form - depression.

What is sensory hunger? Briefly, limited life. And in most cases, people arrange this limitation for themselves. There are exceptional, tragic situations - imprisonment, a serious illness, and here a person is often powerless to change something. But some manage, consciously or not, but quite voluntarily enclose themselves in the most reliable "solitary confinement" - in themselves.

Thus, life turns into a daily routine, into a “survival triangle” of work – home – satisfaction of natural needs. This cannot go on for long, a person simply ceases to function. This can end in different ways, depending on temperament, age, inclinations, and health status. Someone will start "in all serious ways", someone on the contrary will stop leaving the house, will cease to perceive external irritants.

Is there a way to not get things done to such extremes? Sure. And the first thing you should do is to interact with yourself, as well as open your eyes and soul, learn to be surprised, notice what you have not seen before.

You must definitely find at least a couple of hours a week that you can devote only to yourself, only to the discovery of new experiences. The usual walk through the streets! The winners, of course, are those who live in big cities. Although they may not be able to go to the other end of the city. Well, go around your neighborhood!

It’s better to choose a not quite familiar route, and every day not just walk, but invent a certain goal. One day to look for something new in the surrounding landscape - the appearance of any settlement changes constantly. The next time you look for something funny, the next - beautiful, come up with names for the sights that fall along the route, short stories about a place … There are a lot of options! Well what to do if fate was not so generous in impressions! But the main thing is that after several such purposeful walks, you can understand that there were no impressions simply because you did not let them into your life.

Next, you need to start doing something new. Fortunately, now there are many opportunities for this - courses, master classes. It would be better if it would be active classes - sports, dancing, but for starters, anything will do, even something that you were not interested in before. It is never too late to expand the circle of your hobbies and knowledge.

The main thing is to want to break out of the "triangle of survival", to satisfy sensory hunger. Allow yourself, finally, to live life to the fullest, not to withdraw into ourselves.
