Only show character with those who can be affected. If, for example, you decide to climb with your character to the bosses, then you should not hope for any positive outcome for you. With subordinates is another matter. However, here it is necessary to act with caution, proceeding from the positions of good and mutual benefit. After all, if your subordinates see that you are showing character only in order to "get rid of" and drink their blood, then they are unlikely to become subordinate. But if you manage to show them that you are doing everything for the good of the enterprise, and when you demonstrate character, you just need to establish discipline and bring everyone into working condition, then they will willingly meet you.

Often showing character is simply necessary, and this also applies to the family. Children should feel that their parents are higher and more powerful than them, in many things they should obey you. However, show your character with love, because it's still your children, there is no need to make enemies of them. Friends are another matter. Everyone is equal here. And if you show character today, there is no guarantee that someone will not show his character tomorrow.
