Determining the degree of love is not easy in principle. It is not known in what this love is measured, on what scale and in what degrees. It is difficult for people who seek themselves in faith and faith in themselves to imagine what it looks like and what love for God should be like.

According to church canons, love of God is a kind of perfect, sincere, pure and immaculate feeling. It is absolute and gives a feeling, if not security, then of a divine presence. If you are imbued with love for God, all fears and anxieties dissipate.

Do not try your best to love God if you are initially skeptical of religious canons. Look for as many sources as possible that could tell about the divine essence, carefully read the Gospel (or the holy book of the religion that you consider close). Be interested, communicate with enlightened people or priests. Try to understand how they fell in love with God and came to religion.

Do not neglect visiting temples. In the Orthodox faith, if you go to church, it means that you are going to visit God. Before that, try to clear yourself of restless thoughts. Pray and listen to prayers. This is a conversation with God, thank him and be honest while confessing. Representatives of eastern religions use meditation as a kind of communication with God.

Love itself is associated with tolerance, with the desire to know the truth. There should be no room for selfishness or sinful thoughts. A hater does not know true love of God. This perfect feeling must be absolute, coupled with mercy. It excludes aggressive or neglecting emotions.

Remember that love for God begins with love for one's neighbor. Give your love and the brightest feelings to loved ones, not leaving in reserve. Loving, you do not lose anything, but only fill the heart of another person or any living being with light and warmth. Love is the purest feeling that is able to feel all life on earth. Be kind, work on yourself and think more about God. After all, where there is love, God himself is located.
