Such people L.N. Gumilev called passionaries. A. Dugin called them "people of long will." But is their will always used constructively?

Develop strong-willed qualities for working with a passionate child. The same strong-willed person can suppress or change the strength and direction of the will of another person. Passionaries people are born. Their volitional qualities are actively developing without external influence.

Teach your child to be aware of the direction and means of achieving the goal of the activity. Purposefulness is the basis of the will, but a passionate person is able to see only the final result, but does not evaluate the means of achieving it, therefore they are not always socially acceptable. Awareness of the goal and the means to achieve it keeps the will "on a short leash".

Train your child every time you perform a volitional action. He must think and care about other people participating in a particular event. The passionate is able to organize people for a common cause, infect them with his idea, without thinking about their interests, opportunities and desires. People of "long will" put their idea at the forefront, selfishly pursuing their goal.

Educate your child about sexual development and the dangers of early sex life, as his will during the growing up period is also directed at the early realization of his drives. A teenager can tirelessly and swiftly pursue the object of his passion. Explain that it is more difficult to restrain your drives, but at the same time his “will is directed towards the development of will”.

Teach you to take care of your health, which will prevent risky situations when you reach a goal that is obviously dangerous. Strong-willed teenagers are inclined to demonstrate their will to others without thinking about the consequences: to cross a stormy river, climb a high tower, etc. Caring for their body will help suppress unnecessary volitional effort.

Passionaries, or "people of long will", are necessary for society to overcome social chaos, to organize the active work of collectives. But their activity from an early age should be under the control of a teacher educating a passionate to use his will consciously.
Useful advice
Suppression of the will is advisable if the result of its implementation is destructive, and the process of achieving the result is asocial. In all other cases, the volitional efforts of a person can be redirected to socially significant activities.
