Habits very seriously affect the quality of life. Bad habits bring negativity, while positive ones, on the contrary, help to improve and achieve goals. So how do you acquire habits?

As a result of the fact that the same action is repeated by us every day, it becomes habitual. A person already stops thinking about its implementation, just does the work mechanically. You need to bring up a new habit gradually: first, an explanation of the reason why you need it; then regular execution; further understanding of the ability to correctly assess the feasibility of a habit.

How long does it take to form a habit? The minimum is 21 days, and on average, a person develops a stable habit that sits deep in the nervous system from 21 days to 40 days. It all depends on the person himself. But it is important to do this action continuously every day. If you missed one day, you have to start all over again.

There are some tips on how to instill a habit.

1. Do not deviate from the intended. If you decide to do exercises every day, then constantly practice in the morning after waking up, do not put off until tomorrow or later. Each evasion moves you away from the result.

2. Come up with motivation. Imagine that a new habit will bring you (health, well-being, interesting activity, money).

3. Get used to it gradually. If, for example, you want to start playing sports, then first start with a light charge, you do not need to immediately sign up to the gym, exhaust yourself with hours of training. In this case, you can get to a breakdown.

Remember that actions give rise to your habits, habits affect your character, and character affects your destiny.
