In modern society, it is generally accepted that betrayal is a bad deed, and loyalty is something positive. From the point of view of psychology, such a strict distinction is a type of psychological defense. In this case, personal claims are justified by traditional values. That is, a person is quite comfortable with such unshakable confidence in his duty to remain faithful and not expose it to empty doubts.

It can be said even easier, cheating is considered bad, because it causes mental suffering to another partner. However, this logic is not entirely true, because many other life events cause the same pain, without which it is impossible to imagine life, and this does not make them bad. Only one person suffers from betrayal, the second partner receives only pleasure from such a forbidden action.

But is unwavering loyalty and loyalty to her partner so good? There are many situations where this leads to disastrous results. If a person does not have independence financially and psychologically, full loyalty to a partner is required to support his weak personality. Treason under such circumstances can be an impetus in order to leave the existing comfort zone.

In order not to burden themselves with unnecessary obligations, many practice free relations. This allows not only to avoid unnecessary duties, responsibilities and rights, but also to free oneself from a partner in principle. Such a weak and unstable connection does not allow to feel proper support and a feeling of loneliness becomes a constant companion.

Together with a free relationship, partners are represented as distant lovers. They practice sex without too much spiritual intimacy. And this approach to relationships is quite normal. People who choose such a relationship are credited with a certain maturity and independence. Indeed, under such conditions, there is a complete liberation from the feeling of jealousy and affection.

However, in such an adult relationship you can find yourself because of the impossibility of choice. The partner does not want to take on unnecessary responsibilities and the person has no other way to stay next to his love. Free relations are not considered something bad, but a lack of mental understanding can confuse many. In the minds of many people, free relationships devalue love and do not offer it a worthy replacement. As a result, having tried such relationships, many have a dark void in their hearts, in the place of which there was previously a desire for happiness and mutual understanding with their partner.
