But there is another lack of pity, when, despite the patient’s misfortune or even thanks to it, doctors begin to extort money, convince them that they can perform the operation or heal well only for a certain fee. Such doctors violate all the principles of medical ethics, according to which the patient must be helped in any situation, without deciding for him whether he is worthy to live or die.
