The first of September. For all students, this day is always associated with a new stage in life, regardless of what year it is. And what about first-graders! For them, this is a completely new independent stage.
The first year the child enthusiastically goes to school, does homework and enjoys new discoveries. But as a rule, this period of inspiration ends by the second year of study. The load is becoming more and more and, if you do not take measures, it is possible that the child will not be able to overpower all his desires and he will begin to have big problems with learning.
Very often, when a similar situation occurs, parents do not try to understand the essence of the problem and do not try to figure out why the child stopped studying well. This is fraught with scandals, screams, punishments and the remoteness of the child from mom and dad in very important life periods.
To understand the reason why the child has ceased to be drawn to knowledge is the primary thing that parents should do.
There may be several reasons:
- It is possible that your child simply can not get along in a team. Perhaps he is teased, bullied, or even beaten. Try to look at the environment, it is possible that the reason lies precisely in this.
- There are times when a conflict situation arises between a teacher and a student. In the elementary grades, where the teacher conducts most of the disciplines, this problem can be fundamental in order to discourage the desire to study and attend classes.
- One of the most serious reasons lies in the subconscious of the child. Parents who require good grades, good behavior and excellence in everything, often give their child the option to completely reject negative results. Thus, the student cannot cope with the thought that he does not understand something, and in order not to get a deuce, he simply will not go to school. Later, this problem passes from the category of disappointment in one's own strengths, to complete indifference to everything related to study.
Here are three main reasons why a child is not comfortable at school. The task of parents is to find out which situation is most likely in their situation. In no case should you intimidate the child, shout at him and act emotionally. Act adequately, listen to him, and remember that throughout your life you are the most important friend and must be included in all situations of the child and be able to resolve them.
