The whole subsequent life depends on what experiences accompany us in childhood. Literally everything: communication with friends and relatives, relationships with colleagues and superiors, the ability to overcome emotional overloads and resolve conflicts. Therefore, it is especially important to teach children psychological discipline and should begin with restrictions on viewing scenes of violence.

Children learn and acquire skills by imitating adults and other children, repeating what they have seen and heard. It is well known that the easiest way to teach a child to wash his hands after walking or to use a pot if someone else will do the same in his eyes. Film and television scenes containing even comic violence are perceived by the child outside of a critical and contextual assessment. The kid, due to the lack of life experience, is all the more incapable of correctly assessing a murder for self-defense or causing injuries when detaining a dangerous criminal.

Difficulties with falling asleep, poor sleep, appetite disorders - this is not an exhaustive list of problems that children (and therefore their parents) will often watch programs or films in which violence is a significant component of visual expressive means.
Useful advice
Preschoolers are better off not watching TV for more than half an hour or an hour a day. If the issue of violence cannot be avoided on the screen (it is unlikely that without a scandal it will be possible to tear the baby off from Tom and Jerry, Transformers, etc.), adults must accompany a small viewer. Explain, indicate, emphasize.
