For some people, the main difficulty is not the achievement of the goal, but the determination of their true desires. If you consider yourself in this category, work on yourself.
False values
Sometimes, before deciding what you want, it is worth identifying what you do not want. Perhaps some of your current values are false, imposed by society. Indeed, sometimes a person sets himself tasks under the pressure of friends, acquaintances, screen stars, advertisements, other people's experiences, books, films, and much more. It’s good that you are such a receptive person, and so sensitively understand others. But, if you want to be happy, you should discard all these imposed values and know yourself.
Having achieved the next goal, listen to your own feelings: are you satisfied, do you feel satisfaction, joy, happiness. If there are no positive emotions, and only fatigue overcomes you after a long journey, it means that you worked not for yourself, but for false values. If, having reached one level in something, you immediately make yourself an attitude to conquer the next, this can also be a signal that the fulfillment of this task does not meet your true needs and desires.
It is necessary to get rid of fake desires. But first get at least some benefit from them. Your true needs can be hidden in those values that you mistakenly take for yours, only at a deeper level. Analyze why precisely these or those moments interested you.
