Sometimes communication is very difficult for some people: it is difficult for them to get along with the interlocutor, to understand him and to defend their point of view. What can be done to correct this situation?

First, smile. A smile makes a person’s face more friendly and open, transforming it. This calms the interlocutor, and he will undoubtedly treat you with great confidence.

Secondly, do not use harsh gestures when talking, as such behavior can scare away a person and set him up against you. For the same reason, you cannot use closed poses, for example, arms crossed on the chest.

Thirdly, even if you are above the status of a person, never use an imperative tone. Such a speech will definitely interfere with the contact, and your interlocutor will remember you as an arrogant person with whom it is impossible to build any harmonious relationship, be it friendship, love or a boss-subordinate relationship.

Fourth, try not to use parasite words in your speech. They prevent the interlocutor from focusing on the topic of conversation, which, quite logically, can lead to reasonable irritation, and in the future, to conflict.

Fifth, be open. Relax and calmly express your thought as if you have known a person your whole life. Forget about all the complexes. Even if something goes wrong, a person will remember it for exactly five minutes, then he will no longer be interested in thinking about it.

Sixth, always make eye contact when talking. This gesture often tells the interlocutor that you are competent in this matter.

Seventh, if you want to establish contact with a person, make sure that the socks of your feet always look at him. Such a non-verbal gesture tells the interlocutor that at the moment you want or, more correctly, say you need a conversation with him.

Thus, the competent use of speech and non-verbal gestures will allow you to achieve success in communicating with a variety of people. And, as you know, the location and trust of people is the key to all doors: to promotion at work, to excellent examination grades and to family happiness.
