Try to neutralize this danger, and if it is impossible to do so - seek help from those who are specialists in such matters. So, for example, you became scared at the thought of a fire. Listen to yourself, maybe you heard the smell of burning, maybe your wiring is smoldering somewhere, and your body reacted correctly by giving an alarm?

Do not rush to fight fear, even if, at first glance, it is absolutely unreasonable. It may turn out that you instinctively feel the proximity of a threat, although at the moment there is no immediate danger. Are you scared to walk along a deserted dark street? That's right, this street is now deserted, but it may very well be that a detractor hid around the corner.

Now let's talk about really imaginary fears. If you are “overtaken” by such a fear, try to overcome it using the following method: stand upright, straighten your back. Raise your head high. Put your right hand between your chest and stomach. Put your left hand on your heart. Inhale not deeply and quickly. Hold the air for a few minutes and exhale quickly. Repeat the procedure 3-4 times. In this case, mentally say to yourself: "I am not afraid, I am not afraid!".

But do not try to fight alone with imaginary fears that regularly torment you, and are already acquiring the character of a phobia. Feel free to contact a psychologist. The psychologist has a lot of techniques in the arsenal with which he can help you begin to lead a full life without nightmares. The sooner you contact a specialist, the faster you will feel free from fear.
