Find common ground with a person. If your interlocutor sees that there is something that unites you, he will subconsciously begin to perceive you as his own, cease to treat you with distrust, and it will be easier for you to establish contact with him.

An arrogant cynic who feels better than others, as well as a slug, will find it difficult to establish strong, long-term contact with a person.

Do not argue with the interlocutor. Respect his point of view. If you need to convey the opposite opinion, do it extremely softly and politely. Use the facts as an argument so that your objections are not unfounded.
