Loving a person is not always easy and simple. There are people who do this professionally - philanthropists. They organize charitable foundations, donate their money there, and study the problems and needs of the poor.

The earliest forms of manifestation of philanthropy (philanthropy) were probably mutual assistance and mutual assistance of people in one tribe or one family. Religious groups began to help “strangers” for the first time. In a tribal society, helping another, poorer and weaker was expressed in offering gifts and distributing surplus products. It was then that relations began to take shape between the philanthropist (the person who helps) and the person who needs help.

The identification of this concept and its definition occurred in Ancient Greece in the V century BC. But then people attributed philanthropy to the gods. Only in the 4th century BC did they begin to call a philanthropist a person who was sympathetic to others. Aristotle and Plato believed that charity should be carried out by the state.

Subsequently, the Roman Catholic Church took over philanthropic activities. By the seventeenth century, the church was no longer the only benefactor. The state again began to provide assistance to those in need. Benefits began to be distributed, and homes and hospitals for the poor were established.

In the nineteenth century, the first funds to help the poor were formed, founded by organizations that could provide this assistance. By the end of this century, private individuals are already involved in charity.

Modern businessmen and wealthy people often donate money to charitable foundations. Funds are already distributing funds among those in need. It is done differently - the person himself chooses whom he will help. So do those who want to see the result - a revived theater or a recovered child, a new kindergarten or drug treatment clinic.

Society expects help from a wealthy person, philanthropic entrepreneurs thus gain the prestige and positive appreciation of the state.
