The term “familiarity” has Latin roots and in direct translation sounds like “family” or “close”. Despite the harmless meaning of these words, familiar behavior is considered a disadvantage and is condemned in any team. This cannot be an excuse; everyone should understand that tactless and impolite attitude offends the interlocutor and causes him psychological trauma. What is allowed in relationships with close friends can become completely unacceptable in a conversation with others. A slap on the shoulder, vulgar jokes, a distortion of the name and an attempt to unceremoniously impose friendship are all signs of familiar behavior. A completely inappropriate reference to “you” to an older person, woman or girl also falls under this concept. This also includes non-business communication in the work environment. Most often, young girls suffer from such behavior, while falling into awkward and sensitive situations. You can often notice examples of familiarity with respect to sellers and service workers. A well-educated person will respect the representative of any profession and will turn to you in conversation.

If the behavior of the interlocutor causes an association with the word "familiarity", you should not maintain a conversation in a similar tone. By ignoring the situation, one can thereby give tacit consent to continue contact in a similar tone. Rejection of such a tone can be expressed by facial expressions or intonation of the voice, go to a more formal communication. In the absence of a result, it is better to lower your voice so as not to attract the attention of others, make a comment and express your dissatisfaction.
