Communication plays a very important role in our lives. What kind of interlocutor are you? There are people who start lengthy monologues, usually lonely people. If you do not want to be such a boring interlocutor, it is important to be sensitive to other people.

Establish feedback, find out whether it’s convenient for a person to talk now, is he interested in this topic, do not put your interests above the interests of the interlocutor.

If you had to become an involuntary listener of a long monologue, but you do not want to listen to it or do not have time, immediately stop the person you are talking to and politely say that you are busy. Sometimes there are such intrusive people that it is impossible to kill, in which case it is necessary to end the conversation, citing any reasons.

Do not be too emotional with someone trying to prove that you are right. People do not like these. Therefore, try to avoid slippery and rather subtle topics, such as political or religious views, where serious disagreements are possible.

You need to be able to convey to the interlocutor that he touched you with something, but talk exclusively about yourself. That is, it’s better to say not “You offended me, ” but “I'm a little upset with your words.” If you keep repeating “you, you, you, ” this can lead to bad consequences.

Praise the interlocutor, you can use several fairly simple, but very effective ways.

1. In order to show the interlocutor that you are listening carefully, from time to time repeat the last few words spoken by him.

2. Do not give unsolicited advice, it is often perceived as a rebuke. If you talk with men, then a desire to help can be perceived by a man as a distrust of him.

3. Always listen carefully to the person you are talking to, even if you are not very interested.

4. Ask questions. Ask questions with open endings, that is, those that cannot be answered with "yes" or "no."

5. Ask to tell your interlocutor about important things for him. For example, a good question might be: "How did you get into this business?" Usually, in response to such a question, people enthusiastically begin to talk about their lives. And if you carefully listen to the interlocutor, then he will be very grateful to you.

These simple rules can be applied in communication with absolutely any people. This will greatly facilitate your communication and make you in their eyes a wonderful conversationalist.
