Long-term studies of Western scientists show that the generation of "millennials", i.e. people who are now 30-35 years old are increasingly buying homes and cars. In fact, they don’t make super-expensive purchases at all.

In America, people over the age of 30-35 are called the "generation of tenants." This happens for the following reason. Opinions of sociologists dwell on the fact that modern youth is constantly faced with financial instability in their country. Therefore, people are simply afraid to take big loans. But this is not the main reason.

And the main reason is that the current generation has completely different values than their predecessors.

Modern youth looks at the concept of "success" from a different angle. If earlier the success of a person was determined by material values - expensive cars, houses, yachts - today impressions - travels are the values.

Young people deliberately refuse to purchase real estate, preferring to rent it. The current generation does not want stability and tedious constancy. It strives for flexible schedules, financial and geographical independence.

Material things are no longer interested in the younger generation. Why have your own car when there is Lyft, which, in fact, is a personal car with a driver. Why buy a house in a picturesque place and constantly rest only there when you can travel around the world. The very concept of things is no longer relevant for young people.
