Psychology distinguishes two types of personality: extraverts and introverts. The modern world is more focused on extroverts, whose qualities create the image of successful people, so it is often more difficult for introverts to live in such an environment. It is important not to fight this feature, but to accept it and learn to behave accordingly with your nature.

Instruction manual

one

Introverts differ from extroverts in that they draw energy not from the outside world and surrounding people, but seek it inside themselves. Introversion is often confused with isolation, sociability, and sociophobia, but in fact, an introvert can, if desired, be sociable, not shy, open and friendly. But communication with other people and focus on the outside world require energy from him, therefore, periods of loneliness and solitude are very important for him.

2

It is more difficult for introverts to live in a modern society where qualities such as sociability, activity, curiosity, a desire for competitiveness, openness are considered important and encouraged, and isolation, laconicism, closeness are condemned and perceived as flaws. The popularity of noisy concerts, huge open offices, tours to several cities in five days in the company of other tourists and other phenomena show that life is mainly aimed at extroverts.

3

Extrovert parents are trying to "stir up" their children, thereby forming complexes in them, the school is trying to instill in students a desire for social activity, causing the child only to be rejected. These shortcuts lead to the fact that the introvert begins to consider himself flawed and tries to fight with his own characteristics, but in fact with himself, but does not achieve results. Introverts can learn to successfully simulate extraversion, communicate with people a lot and often, spend more time in society, but this takes them away, so they are still looking for solitude to relax.

4

Do not fight with your own characteristics. Do not adapt to the outside world, but try to remake it for yourself. This does not mean that you need to cut off all ties and remain alone. You need to learn how to take breaks and relax in order to regain your strength. Try to avoid those situations in which you will suffer from your introversion - do not go to noisy parties, do not support empty conversations in lines, do not allow people you know to intrude into personal life. But do not forget that you should not give up communication skills either.

5

Adjust to your own personalities. Find a job that satisfies your needs - you don’t need to be a customer service manager, but become an accountant, writer, editor. If you are going to relax, choose not crowded places, small hotels, do not take excursions, but consider the sights on your own or in company with family or friends.

6

Develop self-confidence, introverts tend to worry about the little things and look for weaknesses in themselves, but such an attitude will lead to low self-esteem and increased anxiety. Love yourself and do not respect your nature with respect.
