First, rage arises, which is later replaced by thoughts that from now on you will never be lucky with adequate bosses, and dismissal will become a thorn in the work book for the rest of your life. Drive these alarms away. In this difficult situation, you do not need to sob at the door of the CEO’s office, putting on the skin of the “poor sheep”, but find out the reason for dismissal and figure out all the payments that you are legally entitled to. Keep this moment "on the fly", do not let the authorities put you on the street with nothing, even if you have extra income.

The second step is control over emotions: self-pity, resentment for the injustice shown to you, fear for your future life. In no case do you threaten senior management with “reprisals”, but solve issues in a confident business language, on occasion appealing excerpts from relevant legislation. If you break into insults, be sure that you can’t see a positive recommendation like your ears. And if you are going to continue working in the same professional direction, it will not be difficult for the new boss to find out everything about your person at the previous place of work. Draw conclusions and leave with dignity.

Think of the situation not as a grand fiasco, but as a door to a new life. When the emotions subside, think about the fact that at the now former work you still learned a lot, gained skills, developed connections. Now it's time to decide how to proceed at this stage. You may have thought about leaving before, but you delayed this moment because of fear of being left without work. In any case, now you have at least a couple of options for further developments. You either send a resume (updated by increased experience) to the same specialty, or you master a completely new business for you, which you really will like.
