Sometimes people work so hard on the same thing, that after a while it becomes more difficult to think about something else. Preparing for exams, working on a serious project for the company and other matters can fill your entire mind. To cope with the load and, most importantly, refresh your head in such situations is the most important task.

Instruction manual

one

Switch attention. Long and hard work on one thing inevitably leads to stagnation in other areas. A person is physically and mentally tired so much that it becomes too difficult for him to focus on the same thing for an hour at a time. In such cases, you need to be distracted and turn your attention to other objects and projects. Thus, you refresh your head to continue working and during the break you will have time to patch up holes in abandoned affairs.

2

Take a walk. A whole day indoors, and even with increased concentration of attention, it takes all strength and energy. To restore the normal pace of work, set aside all things and walk along the street. It is advisable to take walks in parks or along the river. Nature will bring peace, purify thoughts, and fresh air will invigorate and give new strength.

3

Have a snack. Sometimes the body doesn’t have enough energy for living at a normal pace. You are mistaken in thinking that sitting on a chair will not take much effort. Mental activity requires energy comparable to the training of runners. The best option is to have a full meal away from your place of work. Cafe, restaurant, as well as your own house with the usual serving and unhurried consumption of food will help the body recover to continue working with new forces. If you can’t get out, always keep at hand water (preferably with lemon), any fruit and chocolate.

note

Ventilate the room for several hours in a row. This is especially true in winter. Heating makes the air too dry, in such conditions it becomes much more difficult to work.

Useful advice

Take work breaks every half hour for five to seven minutes. Get out of the chair, walk around the room. But you should not be distracted by talking on the phone and aimlessly browsing the Internet, because you will get lost and further work will not work out.
