Kisses are one of the best components of any good relationship. And it doesn’t matter if you kiss your loved one on the lips or your friend on the cheek, the mechanism is similar in both cases.
Kissing or rubbing your noses?
Currently, people kiss because they have been trained to do this, that is, they have repeatedly shown how to do it. However, this happens in a similar way only in European civilization (which "captured" the whole world), in less Europeanized places, instead of kissing, people rub their noses or inhale the smell of each other's neck. However, the logic of these actions is the same as in the situation with kisses.
You can learn to kiss on salted tomatoes or tangerine slices. In the learning process, however, it would be nice to imagine a dear person.
First of all, a kiss is an act of trust. After all, the human face is the most protected part of the body. In a dangerous or unpleasant situation, we cover our faces with our hands, this attitude is understandable, it contains organs important for life. Therefore, if a person lets another person into the area of his face (and during a romantic kiss closes his eyes, becoming defenseless), this indicates a large degree of trust. Turning his cheek for a kiss, one person metaphorically says to the other, "I am open to you, I believe that you will not strike." That is why formal “secular” kisses look rather strange, because very often their participants do not have warm feelings for each other.
