What is anger? An emotional state in which a person cannot control a negative reaction to events or conditions. If such outbursts of emotionality are not uncommon, then you should consider how to deal with it.

It is useful to imagine, but it is better to see yourself from the side at the moment of anger. The picture is not pleasant! Red face, frowning eyebrows, swollen nostrils and twisted mouth. For girls, the method of looking from the side is especially effective. It is categorically impossible to restrain anger without figuring out the reasons and not assessing the consequences. Suppression of negative emotions leads to inhibition of the psychological state, and after it the physical one (stress on the heart, gastrointestinal tract, migraine).

The other extreme is splashing out anger at and without cause. This is also not a solution to the problem, excessive negativity will push away friends and acquaintances, and health will be at risk (stress on the heart, a surge of hormones, a jump in adrenaline). Feeling a surge of anger, you must try to change your inner state. For example, direct energy into exercise, walk or run. It’s not always possible to escape, at work, for example. In this case, you can squeeze and unclench your fists several times, take ten deep breaths. Another option is to think of something pleasant, mentally pronouncing it until the feeling of anger gives way to joy.

You can defeat an attack of anger with the help of a reflex. Surprisingly, if you smile (even with difficulty), then a positive memory will come to mind involuntarily. It is important to remember that controlling emotions and being able to act rationally where you just want to tear and throw is very difficult, but worth it. Efforts will not be in vain when the anger recedes, and all vital signs come back to normal: heart rate, pressure, adrenaline level and respiratory rate. At this moment, the improvement in physical condition is most felt. And the idea that this improvement is obtained through correct actions leads to moral satisfaction.

Another important fact that you should not forget about is the contagiousness of human emotions. Therefore, it is necessary to think about the health of loved ones before oppressing the situation with your cry. When negativity collapses from the side, it is worth reacting not with similar emotions, but with a smile and positive, then the aggressor will have to soften and exchange anger with mercy.
