Are there any general patterns in the appearance and resolution of various problems, regardless of their specificity?

In our difficult time, each person has many problems. One can hardly find anyone who could say that everything in his life is perfect. It often happens like this: if one or several spheres of life are in relative order, then something else necessarily gets out of control. Good at work - in a family of difficulty, money appeared - health fools around

Is it possible to find general recommendations for the whole variety of difficulties in different areas of life that different people experience in different periods of their lives?

All difficulties and problems have something in common, and they are also sometimes resolved in a very similar way. I will explain with an example. Recall from your experience two different difficult situations that have been successfully resolved. For example, a conflict situation in a relationship with a person and financial difficulties in a certain period of life. Situations, causes, circumstances, duration, solutions were different. Is not it? But what was common? The stages of solving these difficulties and your experiences at each stage were common.

If we conditionally divide the problem into life stages, from its inception to resolution, we can distinguish:

1. The origin of the problem.

At first, we just live, set goals, do something, make plans, make efforts in accordance with our goals. Then in life some circumstances arise that we don’t like, run counter to our ideas about life, interfere with the realization of goals, or simply make life hard and bleak. For some time we are trying to confront these circumstances.

2. Awareness of the problem.

At this stage, our inability to cope with adverse circumstances finally leads us to the realization that the “Problem” has arrived. At this stage, we struggle with circumstances, do not accept them internally, we believe that fate treats us very unfairly, we experience a number of negative emotions - irritation, resentment, etc. Some people freeze at this stage for a very long time. It also depends on the strength of the negative circumstances - someone loses the keys and spends a couple of hours reworking them, and someone gets drawn into a situation that is much harder.

3. Rethinking your attitude.

At the next stage, we calm down, begin to rethink a lot in our lives - attitude to ourselves, to people, to the problem. Something in us is changing. Recall your situations and you will understand what I mean. Again, this stage goes differently for all people. Different duration, depth of understanding, etc. And, of course, a lot depends on factors that we cannot even take into account and list.

Have you noticed that after this stage many people say that their ideas about life change? They say: "I used to think so, but now I look at it differently

.

4. Resolution of the problem.

And finally, having understood something in life, we are already looking for information, ways to resolve our difficult situation, if necessary, turn to other people for help and, again, depending on many factors, by performing certain actions, we get a solution to our problem.
