Models (patterns) of social behavior are usually called value-normative complexes, which are examples of actions, worldviews, actions and attitudes of people.

Models of behavior are objectively set by the social position of the individual in the complex of social and personal relations, i.e. reflect the expected behavior of a person with a certain status. Thus, the social model of behavior is a mechanism of socialization and is divided into: - status; - role; - role behavior. By social status is understood a person’s position in the system of interpersonal sensations that defines his rights and obligations established by society. It is customary to refer to norms of behavior as social roles, due to status, and role behavior - individual use by a person of a specific role. The main factors that allow describing models of social behavior are: scale - space the natural and temporal distinction of events or the absence of such events; formalization - the presence or absence of strict rules for established events; emotionality - attraction or removal from the emotional component of an event; motivation - focus on personal or public interests; the way to get a role - getting or achieving a certain role. determined by the range of interpersonal relationships. Thus, the relationship between the seller and the buyer is limited by a specific reason (purchase) and their scale is small, and the social patterns of behavior of spouses are determined by both formal normative acts and diverse interpersonal relationships, increasing their scale. Border guards can only be formal, family relationships imply a close relationship, and attorney-client relationships combine formal and informal relationships. The role is determined by the needs and motives of the individual, and the model of behavior turns out to be dependent on these motives. The way to get a role is related to the inevitability category of this model of behavior: the role of a woman, an elderly person or a young man can cause problems of conformity, but not receipt, while the role of a student or professors can only be obtained as a result of some conscious actions. A person has several social models of behavior - father, son, union member, vehicle driver, department head and - used as needed.
