Many married men condemn their women for rash spending money from the family budget. According to men, most of the purchases made by their wives could be easily dispensed with.

Most often, such claims against the weaker sex are unfair. A woman is better than a man aware of the usefulness of a particular purchase at home, which is why a husband who scolded his wife for excessive and unjustified waste of money, ultimately actively uses the "unnecessary" purchase. A waste of money is noticed instantly, and it can be difficult to assess the usefulness of purchases at a glance, as well as to understand their purpose in the household.

In addition, almost every man wants his wife to look good, look after herself and dress stylishly, and calls the money spent on these needs wasted.

Based on the above information, we can conclude that the phenomenon called female extravagance is very exaggerated. A man who believes that his wife does not properly manage the family budget should take on this task for at least a month. Such a move will clarify the situation, leading the man to one of two logical conclusions:

- the wife managed the family budget wisely;

- the wife is a shopaholic.

Unfortunately, the second option also takes place. Shopping mania is often triggered by a woman’s state of internal discomfort. A woman, not experiencing moral satisfaction and comfort from family life, experiences a feeling of a certain emptiness, which she seeks to fill with various, sometimes meaningless purchases.

In order to forget about this problem, a man needs to reconsider his attitude to his wife, find an occupation that will be equally interesting for him and for a woman, simply spend more time together.

Often the cause of excessive cash spending is the inexperience of the hostess. A girl who lived before the wedding with mom and dad is not always able to correctly allocate funds from the family budget for a month. Most likely, this problem will be solved by itself as experience accumulates in family life. In order to understand exactly where the money is going, spouses can record their expenses on paper or in electronic media, this approach to solving the problem will not only give an answer to the question “Where is the money going?”, But it will also save some part of the family budget.
