It is as if he is experiencing the same life that they are, only all this happens in his head. But it doesn’t matter to consciousness where the events take place - in reality or in imagination? Therefore, everything is perceived in the same way. So a man lives a strange life, lying on the couch.
But if he is deprived of the opportunity to live such a life, then he will have to wake up, look around himself and understand that there is nothing in his life.
